Specialized welding
Welding is one of the fabrication process that joins similar or dissimilar materials, usually metals, using high heat input to fuse the parts together with consumable or non-consumable electrodes. We perform specialised welding to restore your failed components with equivalent strength, ductility, fracture toughness and fatigue strength levels as the base structures. We initiate the process with examining the cause and nature of the failure carefully and carry out the following steps to restore your components.
- We can write the welding procedure with appropriate joining techniques
- We choose suitable welding equipment from the range of available machines in our workshop
- We carefully choose correct filler materials to achieve equivalent strength as the base materials
- We perform appropriate welding sequence to eliminate defects such as distortion, porosity and cracks.
- Finally we perform surface finish and quality check for the welding with the range of Non Destructive Techniques (NDT) available with us
We have Fanuc Welding Robot coupled with Arc mate software and laser welding in our workshop. We have restored many steel, aluminium and cast iron components using the above procedure.
